Which used 44"-54" roll fed printer to buy?

Hello Creative colleagues,

Relocated from warm AZ to nippy Holland. Left 25 yr USA life to start over in the motherland...

Setting up shop in Netherlands, looking to buy a USED 44" roll fed printer for less than 3K$. Low Budget!

Experience: Onyx Postershop 7, HP 35100 54" flatbed printer.
Run CS4 on Mac OSX 10.7.2.

I need advice on:

1. Best reliability 44" roll fed printer company/model.
2. Needed printhead clearance adjustability (5-6mm) on the unit.
3. Inks (pigment, no solvent, fast dry, archival) best suited for indoor fine art application.
4. Prefer no RIP, advice on built-in RIP, cheap RIP?

I'll print 150dpi, CMYK fine art quality single edition artimages on top of 3mm thick acrylic gel adhered on HP paper.

I'm running a Canon iPF8300, 12 color and comes with an excellent Photoshop plug in driver. I got a heck of a deal on a new one. Cheaper than the 24" Epsons are going for.

I'm not sure how the pricing is in Europe but it may be worth seeking out some dealer whose willing to deal.
