Which vinyl to use? So many options

Hello People,

As a virgin noob in the graphics printing game, I am totally lost when it comes to choosing the right vinyl to print my graphics on. We are using a Roland SP540i printer/cutter to make decals for outdoor recycling and garbage bins. Mostly flat or slightly curved surfaces. Can anyone send some advice my way please? Also, we will be laminating these babies hoping to extend the life/quality of our decals. The sizes are between 10"-24". Thanks in advance

For plastic substrates like that, I love the Substance Media 444LSE. It is an ultra high tack for low energy plastics, plus it has an air release pattern.

how does that work? assuming the air channels are for bubble removal only and not repositioning the material

do you post heat to relax the channels?

The air release pattern is formed on the release liner. Gives the adhesive layer grooves and channels that you can press air out. The channels flatten out when you apply pressure with the squeegee.
