Spend the 30 seconds to just thin it. Mesh size and color of garment can determine just how much you want to thin it. So get a good quality opaque white, learn to thin it for the job, and you're golden.
I like Rutland StreetFigter white.
Great coverage and easy to print. I do not like heavy coverage on dark shirts adn I do not have any issues with printing that white through 190 or 230 mesh screens. It helps if you have nice tensioned screens like Newmans.
I would give One Stroke Inks Hybrid White or LB Premium White a try.. The Hybrid White seems to have quite a bit of puff so it works well for 1C White on Color jobs.
