Who makes these and where do I find them???

Hey everyone. I have a customer that has asked me to quote 20 of these. I have searched for 2 days to find a manufacturer for the aluminum sign posts and for the round aluminum blanks. Has anyone here sold, priced, quoted, built any of these? I have found retailers, but they don't give a price break for other sign shops. I am beyond frustrated with this, and have no idea what to do next. I don't want to let my customer down, but I'm also running out of time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For the post and maybe the panel you could try Dee signs, Lowen signs, or Oakley signs.
All do RE signs & i think alum posts.

Maybe you could do a square blank with the round design on it.

Lowen Sign gives a 5% discount to sign shops. Does anyone know a manufacturer for the aluminum posts to get set up with? The customer could buy these as cheap as I can. How can you eve mark them up with that kind of price break?

That's the best you got? Why be a sign shop if you can't offer the complete package? Yeah...that's probably the easiest thing to do, but I'm sure this won't be the last time I get asked for the Aluminum RE posts.

they do give a trade discount as well (i think its about 20% but I can't remember).

Just got off the phone with Oakley Signs. They do offer a 20% trade discount, but their product is almost twice the price of the other online sites that sell retail.

Yeah, if all ya wanna be is a broker, just mark it up what you need and take your chances...... otherwise, just roll up your sleeves and get to work and be a full service sign shop guy.

The problem is that you're asking for a wholesale vendor and it was given to you in the first reply. Next problem is, these things are a commodity and the wholesale vendors are selling to anyone off the street. Wan't it cheaper? You'll have to become a distributor, and most likely stock a couple hundred at a time. Want it even cheaper, you'll have to learn to weld and paint, and make a couple hundred at a time. Or become an importer and buy a container full...

Or you can price it online and hope the customer can see the value in having you deliver a finished product instead of handling the finishing themselves (it's a realtor, they won't). Or perhaps a client who hasn't heard of the internet.

As far as the "easy Button"...yeah, I was looking for one. Obviously there is a manufacturer out there that mass produces these. Why not try to get
set up with them as a distributor? Doesn't that make more sense than trying to fabricate your own? Isn't purchasing pre-built products more efficient?
That would be the same as trying to make my own coroplast. I was asking for manufacturers, and if anyone had used these before. So if you had read
MY post at the top, you would see that. I did cop an attitude to Bill's second post. So what!! If the customer wanted to spend the time to buy this for
themselves, why would they have asked me to quote this? You that are offended or upset or think that I didn't appreciate the advice that was given...
Well...get over it. I appreciate all valuable advice given. I was hoping this thread may be useful to someone else down the road, which is why I was
replying with information that I found out from the companies that were suggested. But like so many other questions that I have seen asked, this turns
into a pissing contest. So for those of you that want to think I'm pissy or have an attitude...feel free not to reply the next time I post something. You
telling me those things didn't help anything. And with that being said....I have found a manufacturer that offers the post at a great price and the round

I did what most of you thought I was going to do....really? I was sharing information from the leads I followed from the ones that gave information. Go back and look. And if you were following the thread as closely as you think you were, I didn't thank anybody after this BS started. I thanked Bill and Chester almost immediately after they posted. Then I replied to their comments right after I thanked them. So there is no back-pedaling here pal. I have no reason to nor will I. If you say this thread was so helpful and so many people helped, then why is there only 3 people that offered any positive direction? And I thank all 3 and followed up on their leads. The rest of this thread is nothing more than S#$T!!! I refrain from posting too many questions on this forum because of people like you. Every topic seems to turn into this. The ones who have been around a while seem to have this broom handle shoved up their A$$ to the bristles. And they do nothing but criticize you or talk down to people that haven't been in business as they have. So if player wants to put a sticky up top with my name...so be it. I will get about the same amount of help as I did with this thread. Except for the ones that actually helped, and appreciate those people tremendously! I'm not mad, I just won't be pushed around. As far as the information on the a good supplier...I'm not going to be an a$$h0le like you have been and several others that told me just be a real sign shop and build them. I don't need to...someone else builds these. I will provide this information if anyone is still interested and this thread isn't dead. There is no reason why anybody should have to go through this with you again. So if you are interested, reply back to this thread and I will post up the info.
