Looking for options on wholesale trail markers, vandalism and theft resistant options. Most likely the fiberglass style with flanges that make them extremely difficult to pull back out of the ground. Any sources?
as far as the pole goes, concrete them into the ground, using a thick wall pipe. Before pouring the mud, cut a hole in the side pf the pipe (below grade) and that way the mud will get into the pipe ad have a better base.
They are not going to haul concrete out miles into the woods for 4wd trails. They also want the fiberglass style that can be run over without destroying.

All the trails around here use a simple t-bar with a screen printed aluminum sign. Funny thing is not a single one has bullet holes in them, but all the big road signs do.
Note: Nothing is vandal proof. I'd look into cheap and easy to replace before trying to account for everything that could happen.
