I've emailed a customer (from afar) a very simple vector file for some bike decals. It amounts to about 2 or 3 words, converted to curves, and was 36kb. He was going to apply outlines and size them himself, and then email the eps file back to me to cut out of vinyl. Simple, right? Well now he says that he can't email it because it is 54mb. "54 megabites!" I said. "How on earth did it get so huge?"
He insists that he knows what he's doing, that he's done nothing wrong, and he's doing it in Adobe Illustrator CS4.
I've told him that it should still be a very small file. Is there something I'm not aware of that could rightly be making this file so massive?
