i've got a project that i've designed for a client, without really giving much thought to "how" it will be printed or installed. the designs seem to be a bit too complex for vinyl. i figured i'd print these with a double layer of white ink on some kind of film. then hand the prints off to another sign guy out in the area (WDC) for converting/installing/whatever would just get the job done.
my question is: what kind of material i should print on? i'm thinking some kind of print treated PET. but i assuming that polyester can't be installed in such a manner. is there an optically clear window vinyl film???.... the install is permanent.
i really don't know anything about this whole field.
any suggestions would be of great help.
