Windows 8 and versaworks

Versaworks 4.9 will not cut my decals in windows 8. No marching ants.

Rightclick open --> open as administrator.

Took me several reinstalls etc to find out this was the simple solution. Why....God only knows (and Roland techs.)

it's because VW is technically not compatible with 8.

warning, do NOT update to 8.1.

We run it on 7, 8 and 8.1 without problems. Run as administrator.

i upgraded to 8.1 and it just kept crashing over and over

Try running in Compatibility Mode, in a previous version (not sure what options are there for Win 8....maybe Vista or XP). Right click the VW icon, select Properties, Compatibility, and go from there.
