working around bitmap box

    It's been a while and I don't remember how to do this,please help.
    Have lets say a downloaded pic of a snowman. bring it in to flexi is a bitmap. Now it has a box around it, just want the outline of the snowman so I can lets say put a blend around the snowman.

    If your looking to make the background invisible so you can lay it into your design, you can use the "Make Transparent" function (if your using ver 8 or higher. If your using ver 7 or if you want to add a blur, then there is instructions on Scanvecs website here:

    and search the knowledge base with "Remove background from bitmap"
