worst nightmare

hello all I feared this day would come. My latex l28500 is on the fritz.

My y-k printheads are havin major drop out

any ideas of where to start?

arent the heads consumables on that machine?

This printhead was just replaced and giving issues(yellow was overspraying on the edges of the print) last week has half liter thu it right now

Run cleaning(s) from the front panel (Ink Menu > Image Quality Maintenance > Clean Printhead). If the head cannot be cleared up, replace it with a new one. If < 1000 ml of ink have passed through the head it should be a warranty replacement. More than that amount of ink and you buy the head. They run in the low $100 range ea. and take ~10 minutes to install and calibrate.

can this be a dirty encoder strip? or bad printhead connection?
