Figured with this many creative people in one spot, we'd have a thread with awesome costumes from this year. No, I don't have any :) Didn't do anything but work :(

I have to live vicariously through others :)

didnt do anything... 3 months pregnant... wasnt feeling upto it! lol

BUT next year, not sure what I am doing but for my pups my female doxie will be a ravens cheerleader and my male pit bull and my male beagle will both be ravens football players! :p

I never take pics of things like that. I should, but know I'll never use them or look at them. Printed a 8'x16' western town backdrop and mounted to coro for the town's tailgate trick or treat night at the park. Built a frame out of 2x4's to mount it on, shot myself in the hand with my framing nailer. Only blew over once. Banner tape wasn't strong enough, had to switch to foam.

This pic was taken while we were still working on it. I don't have a finished pic here at the office.
EL wire, transformers halloween nylon costume (dyed black), black pleather, Some 13 oz scrim, orange printed sailcloth (wrap the el wires) and lots of glue and thread.

was fed a peter-pan costume since the bar I was tending went with a "neverland"-theme and no-one else wanted to play the role.

however, on monday the 31st, we played our kickball league championship in full costume and I threw this together an hour before "kickoff".
$5 for an 8yr old's Green Lantern costume @ salvation army, which I stretched/ripped myself into and stapled printed wallpaper logos of our sponsor onto my chest/cape. Luckily I still had the green short-shorts to cover-up what the Green Lantern costume wasn't designed to:

Our nearly 6 year old daughter went as Nyan cat.
We didn't get a chance to do the make-up though.
