Wrapping using an Edge

I have some small bits and pieces to do, there will be some dirt accumalating on the prints but would it be good enough to print onto cast and run an abrasive guard over the top and then wrap the item. Not sure if lamination would be needed?

Not exactly a wrap but the attached photo of the grill is three panels with a .1" overlap on each panel. It was Edge printed and had UV/Abrasion Guard overprinted. It was applied from the bottom up with wetting solution and transfer paper with the bottom .5" left unmasked.

Gerber printed this 15 passenger van I did on their site. It was over 10 years ago before i brought in an inkjet.

For "bits and pieces, I don't see why not, but for a full "wrap" I would never do it again, because it wasn't cost effective, based on material cost or labor... but it worked

Thanks Doug, I've been asked to wrap some alloy wheels in some custom silver graphics on matt black. Thought I'd use my Edge.
