Looking for the INTERNATIONAL font or anything similar. This was used in the 1920's-40's.

Any help is appreciated!

Probably the closest you're going to find is Bookman (Bold Condensed). It's much closer than Garth Graphic. Here's a free version made by a company that no longer exists.

B Fonts - OPTI Fonts Archive

The original International design would have been done by hand, based on the standard type styles available at the time, but customized by the craftsman who made it. Bookman fits the era, and I'd bet that's what it was based on.

It also varied slightly over time – here are a couple more examples of it from the same era:

Thanks! I figured with the age that it wasn't an actual font but hoped for something close.
