Need Help X Axis Error - Update Firmware

Hi, I have just bought a second hand D60 SE and am getting "x axis errors" when plotting and occasionally it just flips out whilst moving the media with the arrows.

I have been advised to upgrade the firmware as there is some known fault with servo motors (or something like that).
I have found the correct download for the machine but can't find any info on how to install it.

I am hoping that someone can shed some light.

I have changed the motor 2 or 3 times because of that over the years. Pretty simple to do, takes about 15-20 minutes.
