XC-540 feed motor keeps running

I switched the servo board on my XC-540 because the feed motor was dead (a motor switch didn't help). Now the motor works, but it feeds at full speed when trying to print anyting and won't stop.

Could it be some kind of sensor problem? Any advice is appreciated.

You can check the motor data cable first, find if it is connect well.
As normal, grit encoder is stable, not easy damaged.
Or you can try down load latest firmware from Roland website and update to you printer.

Off topic-- I am setting up a feed motor on my VP-540 and didn't realize
that the XC had one. Verrrrry interesting. Gene
