XC 540 issue

For some reason, my printer will stop part way through a print and go into cleaning mode. Anyone else have this problem?

Seems to be happening with mine also, only after the latest firmware update though, it never did this before that one. What version are you on?

Periodic cleaning routines are typical for Roland solvent printers. If you're using non OEM ink, the cleaning cycles are generally more frequent.

Does it continue to print after the cleaning cycle has finished? I think that
I may know what is up, but I will have to wait till tomorrow until I can get
to work and let you know if I am on to something.

The periodic cleaning seems to have been turned on..
You should be able to turn it off by going to the sub menu/periodic cleaning and just press down until it shows off.
