XC-540 No Power

I just purchased a used machine. After moving to our location, it will not turn on. I've tried different power cables, but no luck.

My next guess would be a power supply. Any other suggestions before I try to find a replacement?

did you turn on the main power first (at the back) and the secondary power (at the front)?
Is it plugged in?
Does the outlet have power?
You should keep the printer on it's own circuit or you will be blowing the breaker.

Main Power Switch On: Check (No results)
Secondary Power Swith: No indication (No results)
Outlet Has Power: Check - plugged in different equipment.
Power Cord is Good: Check - used two, one of which I know works.

Macmedia, I'm a good 4 hours or so from you. I replaced the 36v power supply today and it didn't make a difference.

I'm going to mail you out the boards to look at.

They're sending me out a head and transistors now.

Ultimately they determined that the boards were fine, so I'm not looking for a new solution.


On the plus side... they did not charge me check the boards (I only had to pay shipping fees). They've been good to work with, and I'd refer future business to them.
