XC-540 Print Carriage Board Replacement

Hi! I'm attempting this repair myself since our repair guy isn't available right away (HE did the diagnosing, however). Anyone have tips on replacing the print carriage board? Is it just a matter of unplugging everything, switching out, re-plugging?

You got it. Just make sure to unplug the machine, and wait about 15 minutes before working on it. Then make sure everything is perfectly plugged in before powering back on. Be careful with the ribbon cables as they are easy to break if you put them in crooked.

Just out of curiosity why did you replace the carriage board?

We were having one print head going out after another. Just process of elimination...carriage board replacement was recommended by our service technician. And it did seem to be the solution to the problem!
