Xc-540 print head issue

Just got my Xc back up and running changed manifold on light magenta as well as dampers.
First test print was iffy..
But I decided to run something..

And Something happened!!
Why after a cleaning cycle would this do this?

Power down and unplug your printer. Then check all the ribbon cables going to the heads to make sure they are seated all the way into the connectors on the print heads and are sitting square, not at an angle. Especially the light magenta. I suspect the ribbon cables for the light magenta are not in correctly.

would normally mean cable fault hope you did not spill any ink on the small head board whilst you had the head out.?

actually there was ink all over the head board when the Manifold broke (was broken in shipping) Lt Magenta has two new cables. It fired ok at first (only partial) I ran two Normal cleanings back to back.. And then started to print.. And the magenta firing is what I got..

if ink all over the board that the cables connect to the head fair bet thats your problem. i have a feeling that cleaning fluid damages it as well don't really know what to recommend i have cleaned one up with a old tooth brush but it must be bone dry. thought and care required.

Morning all.
I went over everything again this morning.
Didn’t fix it.. So I changed the head.
Perfect.. we are back up and running..
