xc540 cut everithing inside 2 inches instead of 54 inches

Hi we have a recuring problem.

the xc540 cut all the path inside 2 inches wide instead of the full document size (marked with the align and cut printed marks). the height is ok its only the width that's problematic. Usualy just relunching the job does the trick, but not always.

someone faced that problem and found the source?

When the machine boots up check the display to see what it measured for the width of the material. It may be measuring the width wrong.

It check the size right and event detect the ''align and cut mark''

Have you checked/cleaned the encoder strip?
