I have a older sp540v and I was just printing a small sign on high speed and the Cyan and Black started doing this. Any ideas would be great.

Printops

Roland Eco Sol Max Ink
Color bad

Did you try and do a power cleaning, and run a printhead test, see if any nozzles are not working?

Here are a few ideas. Could be a media problem. Try something else. Could be a heat problem you may need more heat. Could be a static problem. Take the media off and clean the platen with 91% alcohol. Could be a file problem, check the artwork.

If the print test is fine, but the colour drops out, check that the cartridges have ink. I think it is time for new dampers though.
