Yellow Ink

We ran across an issue yesterday where we ran out of yellow on JV3 160SP. We replaced the yellow cartridge and now it is not firing properly. We tried to prime the yellow head with syringe below capping station and cant get any ink to pull through the head.

I would soak the head overnight.

Been there and done that! Any other suggestions?

Not as familiar with the jv3 as the jv33, but is ink making it to the damper?

You're not holding your mouth right when you pull on the syringe...lol

the lines to the damper are full, new dampers are full, and capping
is fairly new, the line below cap is clear, I can flush ink/fluild through
the top of the head, but still can't pull ink through the head
from below the cap. The yellow head did print what ink I forced
in and then faded out. Huh?

now I did data swap and damper swap . everything works on switched
head. still can't get yellow head to let ink draw through cap.

piezo crystals siezed up / dead head?

or clogged manifold?

just guesses really

edit: cant draw through cap but can force ink in and it will print what is forced == clogged waste line from yellow cap in my opinion
