I already know that this is not a font, it well predates modern computing...
However, I have to try to match it for some supplementary lettering on the same building.
Does anyone have a close "cousin" for this type-style?

Try something in the Microgramma, or Eurostile families.
They aren't perfect, but they have the same feel.

A couple you could look at and go from there perhaps - from a new member with a sign shop in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
