I wanted to chuck my CE6000-60 in the middle of the street before I solved this.
1) Make sure it has the newest firmware.
2) Goto Graphtec website and adjust the arms sensor values for cutting with laminate.
3) Graphtecs are SUPER, say again SUPER finicky about media alignment. Its it's not...
I agree with DKGraphics. I would also like to mention to use the setting to put as many registration marks on the media as possible. It really helps with the skewing.
I just got a CE version and I see next to the cutting strip is the channel for the perf cutting but the CE does not have the extended blade holder to use it. I am really loving this machine. I do have questions but figuring it out quickly. I really like how the Graphtec has the optical eye...
Anyone know the best setting for perf cutting on the CE6000? Before you say it, yes the 6000 is capable of perf cuts now. Problem I am having is I am using a thicker laminate and it does not want to seperate even though there are tiny pieces holding it together.
I am pretty sure I need to...
Anyone have any experience with using Kapco's Inkjet Adhesive Backed Vinyl, Inkjet Printable Banner Material, or their Cold Laminate?
I am wondering about these products:
KJWPV5002/24 Waterproof White Vinyl 24"x50'
(8 lbs./Roll)
KJWPB1002/24 Waterproof 14mil Blackout Scrim Banner...
After playing around for a few hours and going through alot of frustration. It is working properly. I figured I would post what I did so others that may search will find a solution.
I changed the ARMS Sensing Level to X=70 and Y=80 and started to use the multiple reg marks along the vertical.
Hello everyone I just bought a Graphtec CE6000-60 plotter and trying some print and cut with it. I am having trouble with it cutting accurately. I have a standard letter size paper on it with the registration marks and it detects the marks but then cuts way off of where it should. I am using...
Well since this product comes in a spray can or a jar, I w2as thinking you could use an actual sprayer to apply since it. Plus even if it was just a video spraying from the can at least you could see how much they are putting on and seeing the results.
I have decided against it through.
Thanks!
Is the Kapco printable vinyl media any good? Seems like a real good price. The only thing that scares me is that it states there might be a slight color shift on pigment inks, but then again says for best results use pigment inks.
Thanks!
Tom,
Your post is the exact reason why we are looking into a new printer. But I still want roll media, there are other Epson printers that accept roll media but I believe they are 13" rolls which are obviously hard to find. I don't want to laminate sheets and then put them on the plotter...
Hello everyone!
I am looking into some printer options. We have been creating alot of stickers / decals lately and I need to buy another printer. I was looking at a Canon imageprografi6400s as a pigment printer. We always use lamination on the stickers, labels, etc. I like the idea of just...
