Hi, my friend. Im an owner of mimaki jv3/160sp printer with a ink bulk system. I think that something goes wrong with cartridges' chips because in local mode I have the message REMAIN _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ for all cartridges and I cant go to remote mode neither do a test print (it appears the ''Error 30'' message) or fill up ink. Can I do something to reset this problem?

    Thanks

    Hi artbot,
We have an epson stylus pro and we were thinking of getting the sepiax ink for it. I had read earlier posts from you talking about the ink and wondered if you had any reviews on it. We were thinking on using heating strips to heat up the material.
    Thank you
Hey Artbot ... I have a SP300 that I'm trying to bring back to life. I have replaced both heads and done the manual alignment and it looks perfect. But when in i run the Horizontal test the DT3 H1 row is very blurry and offset. I've read the manuals and have fixed these machines before ... most of the time ... But this has got me stumped... hoping you can help. Thanks in advance
Hello ARTBOT im writling from ireland i have a jv 33 running sublimation inks ,brand new pressurised cartridge bulk system .black was going out partially ,test draw showed blocks of black cells out after a meter or so ,next time possibly complete right side black completely out ,1 hard clean brought them straight back.then today we tested cartridges and released some air in cartridges at top with needle & tube (nit bulk system)
printed 20 meters black perfect then both black went completely.i cleaned ,fill up 3 times and even half hor nozzle wash and nothing.i switched yellow damper with black and cleaned ,then test draw printed yellow where black should be and nothing in yellow section where black was switched.to me this proves problem is from damper back can you help
Hey artbot, in a post i was reading you said you could buy dx2 heads for $200 .. couldn't find the link you were refering to. Could you post it? Also you talked about silicon heating blankets? ...I have a Mutoh Falcon that i want to run eco-inks through.
Hello Arbot, I need the link for the JV33 bible you posted so long ago. I think I need the information. Basically I have a JV33-160 that is shifted in the y-direction. I have done all the y adjustments but still to no avail. I have just replaced a new printhead last week but with same problems. I think I need to properly align the y base setting, or the individual ink channel y correction like in the old JV3 but I dont seem to be to access that part of the calibration process. Please help.
Hi Arbot, I don't speak the language but i try to explain my trouble. I've a Versacamm SP540v Last Night and for three days i didn't print anything but when i came to print this morning the printer was totally off, no main power at all. I open the back and with my tester found that ceramic fuse of the powerboard was blow out. I carefully change the fuse connect all cables again switch on and the fuse blow again. It's the Power board Damage or its another component that make the fuse blew.
    Thanks

Artbot- I am looking at a used jv33-130 that has been sitting in a garage for a couple months with the cartridges out. You seem very knowledgeable with mimaki - what is worse case senario? What would be a decent price to pay? Its 2 yrs old with take up reel and solvent inks. I haven't seen it yet so I don't know all of the details. I bought a falcon jr. a few years ago that sat for 3 years and that wasn't bad to get working-printhead, dampers and pumped the lines with cleaner.

    Thanks-
    Ryan
hey man. I was referred to you by Tim Turner. I run a small printing business and we are having some issues with our jv33-160. it started out with some yellow dropping and now it might be worse. If you have some time today I would love to chat. We can always pay for your services as well.

    Thank you.

I want to thank you for helping me with my ink issue. It was a bad cap station. I have a print cut issue that even the tech couldn't diagnose though. Wondering if you had any idea on this problem. What I am experiencing is misaligned print cut in the scan direction. The best way to describe it is in the service menu if you do the three square print align the far right square is on. The middle square is off by a half square and the far left is off the width of a square. All cuts are off to the right side of the squares . However if you print a design say a couple of circles and you set the basepoint in the center of the material (30" roll) the center will be on but as the machine cuts to the left the circles will have the cut line increasingly be off to the right side of them. The cut aligns true near the origin you set and loses ground as the cutter goes to the left. I cleaned the encoder and the eye, set the limit and even tried to very slightly tighten the cable.
So many fans of you. You provide much help for them. How are you recently?
Hi, I have Onyx Postershop 7 for sale for $1550. I understand it's cheaper to buy and upgrade that, than buying 10. (But would want to verify) I have disks, dongle and manual. I bought another printer that included another RIP so I'm not using it. Let me know if you're interested.
