Wow....based on that if we print just over half a roll per week day our annual ink cost would be $61,000. Cleaning alone with no printing would be $22,000 a year. That's absolutely insane. We've got a unit on order currently, but we'll be having a very frank discussion in the new year with Roland.

Just to confirm, are you saying the printer dumped 370ml into the waste ink bottle in a 26 hour period? Was that amount measured from the drain bottle or calculated from the drain fill % on the display?

Roland had a decal option listed for the previous generation of UV printers, but it was never widely released. The concept behind it was to print an adhesive layer through the head so you could do UV DTF transfers with the machine. Apparently they couldn't could things working perfectly and...

We have the same issue on our S80600, the high rpm fans keep spinning even in sleep mode.

In the end I rolled back our CM4 install to the previous version and it fixed our issue.

Maybe the higher end materials, but there's loads of Arlon manufactured in China.

You should be hitting 12m^2/h comfortably in 8 Pass mode. Check your rip settings for inter-pass delay etc. Is your network gigabit?

S80600 100%. Nothing else in that price range comes close on build quality, features and print quality. We've had ours for 2 years and can barely fault it.

We had one of these on our short list but no white ink was a deal breaker.
