  1. How to improve colors?

Try printing uni-directional. If that helps, stay uni (like we do) or do what the manual says to fix it.
  2. Colorburst RIP Question - Need help fast!

Is your computer set up NTFS or FAT? How much Ram do you have? Huge files will stop halfway through if you run out of ram or max file size, which may be as low as 4 GB on a FAT, 32-bit os. Rip-files can be many GB more than your file-size. We had this problem on WinXP with FAT, and used...
  3. head bearings

Oil the rails with the tool that came with the printer, squeek will stop.
  4. accuracy of the S160T

Best you can get, but why in hell would you send a full roll for cut? One little slip and the whole roll is bad, including laminate and all. We print a few hundred stickers at a time, maybe 6-10', and send the job as many times as needed to get the amount we need, then it's just a matter of...
  5. GS6000 Regular Cleaning Frequency

We need more print jobs, that's for sure, but waste ink should be the same if printing or not, right? And, yes, correct, 1 year to fill up the waste bucket, which holds approx. 2 litres, 4 cartridges. That corresponds to 3 months / cartridge into the bucket, so $80 / month for us...
  6. Value of a used Summa

Just download the stuff for the 1400, probably the same exact thing except the width. We had the old Durasign 140T, but it was identical to the newer SUmmaSign T1600 Pro except usb.
  7. Value of a used Summa

Hi. You can download a manual and drivers from summausa.com, as well as Summa Cuttercontrol software. No difference usb or not, works just as good on serial. Cutoff knife just on newer ones, get a 3m plastic cutoff knife, I hate knife scratches. Belt is not stiff, its tight...
  8. Spitfire 65 Service manual

This was all kapitanio, I searched google with his searchword, this is what came up. You're welcome, though!
  9. Spitfire 65 Service manual

    Thanks, Dude! http://web.adcom.bg/MM_Spitfire65-90.pdf
  10. GS6000 take-up

I see how that could be misunderstood
  11. GS6000 take-up

Couldn't help myself, had to go back to the shop to check up on it. Old habits etc. Print had finished, the rolled up print looks like it came from a store! Totally straight. This is new for us, no regrets. Wife is a lot happier now than while I was drilling in her Epson!
  12. Should I Work for Free?

Good one! Need a .eps of that one!
  13. GS6000 take-up

Sure- Epson came by and gave it to us for free :ROFLMAO: Just kidding... Our dealer said there is no such thing as an upgrade... I purchased some machines from a fellow going out of business, among them a Mutoh Spitfire with the optional 100kg (220#) heavy duty reels. When I had it in the...
  14. GS6000 take-up

And here's another one, look how straight it is on the roll  The Mutoh Spitfire we picked up looks a bit unhappy without its heavy duty UW/W 100 optional roll system...
  15. Value of a used Summa

Does it have the OPOS positioning? If so it's worth quite a bit, maybe 1000 or more?
