My Envision plotter has today for the first time ever, starts cutting before I hit the start button... Never had this happen and wonder if I accidentley turned something on? I don't use this machine all that much anymore...but weird
You might also want to check your sponges. I found that one of mine was completely saturated with ink and would build up on the head area and drop on the print area.
Usually it starts when the printer is turned on, but to tell you the truth I don't really use it much anymore and can't honestly remember....and yes it will continue until you turn it off and try and remedy it.
I know when my starts the beeping, I have to turn off the power, carefully turn it on it's side and then remove the 2 panels to gain access to the computer boards. Usually a loose connector causes the beeping, which one is the question, so I just push them all in and hope I got the right one...
3M gold squeegees last forever. I use those for regular vinyl application as the material it is made of does not slide easily over the premask and you can get good pressure on it. Alternatively I buy the cheap Avery white squeegees for premasking as those ones slip over the mask very easily...
I just had my print head replaced over this issue. On a test print would have the right magenta channel either only printing half or nothing at all. The issue went on for a period of months and would come and go..started doing lots of hard cleaning and even ultra cleanings to keep it alive...
I set up a QR code for a customer and ganged it in with the rest of the graphics to be printed and at the end, everything printed but the qr code. I then thought maybe I did not marquee it properly and tried adding it to the next file being printed and again it did not print. I then tried...
Maybe this is the issue. I now have to put itinto a nozzle wash each night and kill the main power...even then each morning one of the channels is missing at least a quarter of the test print. Are they hard to install?
I Use Defender but it has never caught a virus....so I assume I have none.
I also use Super Anti spyware which I run about every 2 weeks and it always finds about the same amount of so called spyware at about a 700 count...from forums and social media I think.
