We loaded our most commonly used media. Under 'Image Quality" menu down the bottom is an option 'Manual PrintHead Alignment' It prints a plot and you can do the alignment via the scale shown.

We were having this issue with the L700 ad it wasn't the print head at all. We got in out tech-spert and he advised us to do a manual calibration and suddenly awesome prints! Spent $1500 on replacing printheads that I probably didn't need to :(

We had this issue on our new Latex. In the end we had to do a manual calibration for the media. (after unnecessarily replacing printheads, countless alignments and cleans.) Fixed it and no more issue

Pretty sure you'd need to use non-slip laminate in public spaces like a school. Avery Dennison, MacTac and 3M 3645 all have these types of laminates

You could try the Oracal LT95 but like James said it may take off some off the fine styrene. The other thing is will it create enough of a mask if you are painting the polystyrene?

I always send my tiles as individuals and it doesn’t affect the numbering.

I Also only use an ethernet cable. Send from Illustrator direct to winplot, and also through Onyx for Print cut jobs. No problem

I use Oracal 8510RA with the Oratape LT95 app tape. No water required. Bubble free install and the app tape comes off easily as its low tack. Work so well for us.

I've also done this and so long as you have nice sharp lines to cut to, it is not noticeable.
