  1. Question on installing window perf

I sometimes get better results with a regular squeegee... but will scratch. If you take a regular squeegee and go to a fabric store and get some micro suede and use banner tape to wrap one side. It's thin and still lets you get good pressure on all films.
  2. Favorite tools on installs

wet squeegee is awesome or avery blue squeegee with the felt. There are also softer ones for doing contours.
  3. Cutter not reading registration marks with signgold

We usually put premask on top and draw the reg marks again. Nothing reflects back at the sensor
  4. Graphtec fc 8000

Check your sensor and make sure it is still seated properly. We've put premask over top of the reg marks and drew them on with pen. Usually on Metallics or really reflective surfaces.
  5. Another font ID

    Is it a eurostyle
  6. Question on installing window perf

I had asked 3M about that during a training course and they told me that it goes away. I'm still not convinced on that. If you can hold it off the flaw as you install it, it usually helps.
  7. Graphtec CB09 blades

That's what I thought. I ordered them from 1 supplier (not oem) and sent them back when they didn't work. I then ordered oem blades.... Stil no luck. Looking at just getting new holder.

  10. Graphtec CB09 blades

Blades I have a question about the same blades. Ordered CB09 blades put them in and they stop swiveling and don't work. The new ones are a little different then the old ones. I have been trying to figure out if I should just buy a new holder. Original ones that came with the machine work...

  12. Removing Salt off vehicles

Roll it off a cliff and pretend like it never got to the shop
  13. Removing Salt off vehicles

    I like the belt sander.
  14. Removing Salt off vehicles

We try to get people to wash them before they get to the shop... I think if they show up with them all dirty I will just tell them to go get it washed up the street and come back with it clean. Probably the fastest and then we don't have to do as much.
  15. Removing Salt off vehicles

Faster then just water that will get more residue off instead of cleaning over and over.
