I have used duct tape to pull off reflective adhesive. I remember that thread. It doesn't always get it all, but I've had good luck with it as an aid. It depends on circumstances.

Hey Jill-

I saw a post of yours and you mentioned that you use good masking tape to remove the silvery residue left behind from reflective vinyl. Do you still use this method? I tried some 3m duct tape and it did nothing. I have the rapid remover, but it is incredibly messy. Thanks for your help.
