why noy get the orange printed by FireSprint to the color you need and then get the latex orange color matched to paint the walls. Orange you happy with that idea?
By the time you buy a printer & laminator, substrates, vinyls and laminate, people trained to make artwork and run printer, you would be better off and cheaper having the sign company making them.
Not being used for a year would be dried ink in all the lines and printhead clogged with dry ink also, not worth the work and money to restore. Find a used one still working or new one with warrenty from dealer.
When Jet photopolymer first came out I would make film positives and expose the film under a single UV light source after that wash under warm water to make ADA signs with braille. The dots were tO sharp and not rounded like compliance wanted it to be.
