I just started looking myself and came across this thread. Use Oracal all the time, but there is an Avery color that I will start using for a client and really would like to have the swatch in my Illustrator file for reference in the future. Oh well, guess I'm just creating my own.

This. I used a big squeegee for a couple of years until I had the workload to justify a laminator. Used it to laminate to substrate and apply laminate to prints. As long as you have a fairly flat surface, it works great. Still use it from time to time for small stuff.
