  1. Spider stakes

the new design might work...the older ones that I got were little short spikes for the coro and would snap off way too easy... I thought they would work better than the metal as I had metal that broke far too fast, but I didn't find the older spider stakes to be any better...
  2. Mousepad from shop materials?

track ball!! I have simply taken a piece of paper and made some crosshatching on it to make a mouse pad....any pattern sort of thing.
  3. Commodore: Bringin' it back

I have a C-64 at my mom's still....lost most of my games and applications when I loaned them to a guy in college. So, I basically have an antique that has no software....
  4. Your opinion on fresh auto paint

def check with the manufacture of the paint. It will also depend on if they are baking the paint or air drying. Every paint will be different...... I would not want to put it on early as the solvents would still be coming out of the paint and will likely cause many problems with the vinyl.
  5. New guy from Illinois

    greetings from Albion IL
  6. Howdy for Southern tip of Illinois (Gods Country)

Welcome... Albion IL here...work as far south as Harrisburg though with my tinting and have tinted in Elizabethtown on the River Restaurant....
  7. You get what you pay for?

the "yard signs" have been up for several weeks.... The Medical Services sign was done by a friends dad....that is what is around here.
  8. Window Tinting

vinyl and tinting are really different. It is like comparing tennis to racquetball. I would suggest looking at autowindowtinting.com as Stan is doing training in Saint Louis some now. It is like $1500 for the weeks course, but you would learn all the basics and get some good hands on. I...
  9. You get what you pay for?

cause "yard signs" are so much profit.... I might have to stop and comment
  10. You get what you pay for?

I had to post this......makes me sick and laugh at the same time.... I think it is a stencil and sharpie that they used. Want your taxes done by these guys? Sure you "get what you pay for" after all....
  11. We don't just do Shirts lol

I am a newbie, but I would think that the majority of that sign is not very legible at all... If it was twice as wide and twice as tall then MAYBE it would work...but in the picture it is very hard to read all but the business name
  12. Who Knew................?

    that's pretty cool....and a new market angle
  13. Keep off my property!!!

Hey Mosh, you should press charges! That idiot had to have made some sort of damage! Go get EM!!!
  14. Is it safe to put vinyl over the rear defrost lines on car?

I don't see that it would hurt it. A car defroster can get warm, but not any hotter than the glass will get in sunlight. I am sure it would be a nightmare to remove if or when you want to remove it. With window tinting we have techniques to remove it from a defroster window, but not sure it...
  15. Bullet Resistant Sign material???

maybe a mesh material like the "windows" in a shoot-thru hunting blind??
