  1. business name

I will not open a business next to the one that I will be working for.
  2. business name

Hi rat, like you, I will be starting my own sign business here soon. I will also start off with a plotter and the materials I will need. But first I will be going to a local sign shop and see if I can't get some part time work on the weekends to get a little more familiar with sign making out of...
  3. Air Bubbles

Let me tell you about application fluid.....just kidding, HAPPY 2008!
  4. Extreme Makeover Submissions - Vote Now

Honestly you can go to any American Legion or VFW and see the same horrific sign :P
  5. Flexi investment...

Simply deleting the 5 center nodes does this same thing. No more arguing from me darnit, I am new here and I don't need anyone hating me :P
  6. Flexi investment...

My first response of simply deleting the 5 nodes was not a global node change thus only changing the a. node to b. node. considering one would probably manually create this vector image from a raster/bitmap anyhow and not some simple cleanup step, your artwork would not be a "perfect" trace of...
  7. Flexi investment...

I also mean no rudeness but we are arguing about a circle :P you can simply set some guidlines and make sure it's perfect if you like. You gave me an amatuer example and I gave you an amateur way of cleaning it up.
  8. Flexi investment...

Now to take it one step further I can just go to shape tool, select all nodes and reduce nodes to four nodes creating even less nodes than your five, bringing it down to one if I choose.
  9. Flexi investment...

In Corel I would select the shape tool and delete the 5 middle nodes and done.
  10. Flexi investment...

I have been creating vectors for years on Corel, I heard someone say something about easier node cleanup?...this is something I don't know about but would love to see for myself! I have never had any problems creating smooth vectors with Corel with very few nodes to slow the path of the cutter...
  11. Flexi investment...

Corel is cheap and does everything you need. Anyone who bought Flexi overbought imo. *ducks*.....But please remember I am an ex Flexi lover. Corel does everything Flexi can and so much more for so much cheaper, same with illy. Don't just dive into Flexi unless you have money to burn. Unless you...
  12. Flexi investment...

I used flexi pro and now using Corel x3, all your getting from flexi is a slightly easier layout and rip program, things that can easily be matched in Corel, yet with Corel you can design also. Not to mention the price difference is rediculous, why spend so much for Flexi when corel can do the...
  13. Profesional Advice Please!

I use a roland camm-1 pro.....I love it :) I also use x3 so if you have any questions on it please let me know.
  14. Printer Suggestions

At the same time though, bulk ink systems such as re-fillable cartridges may be worth the cost of the blown printheads.
  15. first sign

I was thinking the same thing on the C & D lettering, make a couple 4 point star shapes, drop shadow them, drop the feathering down to a 3 or 4, break the drop shadow apart, delete the vector and you will have some sparkly in your chrome lettering :P. Great start btw!
