I removed the switch and the silver thing fell out. I have put a shim in to show the cover as closed....it would appear that I am back up and running. You guys are awesome. Thank you all for your help. Jeff

I had the same problem when I got mine. The Mimaki rip software profiles suck and only allowed for large dot printing. I had to purchase the Flexi 8.5 print and cut to be able to utilize the variable dot profiles. Although I was able to make it better prior to flexi, flexi was like night and...

It is currently set a 43/45/43. I have been taking it down by 5 degrees with marginal improvements. I have had the same problem with 9mil PVC, Oracal 3651 and other media. I am using the Flexi 8.5 Oracal profile.

I have a new JV33 and seem to ruin more prints than I can sell. The print head keeps hitting the print on the high spots and creating lines. I belive it is a heat setting issue but cannot seem to find the right formula. Anyone have an suggestions for the three settings for a standard 13oz...

I had the same problems and found that when I disabled my computer energy saver features, this stopped happening. Just a thought.

I have two jobs that are eating my lunch. One is a 8'x25' window perf for a local shop and one is a 20'x40' wall mural. I keep beating my head against the wall trying to set the image size in Photoshop only to have my changes take 10 minutes to process. Is there a better way to do this than...

Other than price, what makes these two vinyls different as it relates to printing on them? Does it really matter?
