The film is likely not laying flat on the platen in the areas which this issue occurs. If you get down at eye level, you will see it buckles where the blurry print occurs (might be hard to see on a LEC2 with the front covers).
You can print unidirectional in VersaWorks as a temporary fix until...
Double check your wiper.
1st check: Is a wiper installed?
2nd check: During the cleaning process, the wiper should move from the wiper bath, to the pad, and wipe the printhead (cant remember the exact order). I have seen a few machines the wiper has gotten out of sync and it causes color...
Jim,
Thanks for the advise! Looks like the same bit, just 4mm vs 6mm cutting?
I think you actually did our Colex training when we got the table? Glad to see you are doing well!
Anyone have a recommendation for a bit that will cut .040/.063/.080 aluminum with a baked on enamel, cleanly, for more than a few feet?
We are currently using a Colex HF router and their 532 bit. Our cuts start out looking great, but after a few feet of cutting the baked enamel starts to pull...
Head "A" is showing signs of electronic failure. That's the bending of the nozzles you are seeing.
I would replace both captops, but plan on a head and damper replacement on the "A" printhead.
If anyone stumbles across this in the future, here is the answer:
In Onyx cut-server, if you are using a Colex running OptiScout, you must set the output driver to "OptiScout". If you use the driver for "Colex Sharpcut" the cut will be shifted in both the x and y positions approximately 1/4"...
Bumping this one back up.
Anyone running a Colex through Onyx? Still having issues. I’m fairly certain it’s a Onyx issue but not having any luck. I’ve tried outputting with cut server in .xml (does not work at all) and .oxf which works but shifts the cuts.
Would gladly pay for a few minutes of...
We know it's not the camera calibration as we can cut the sample file accurately that Colex provides. This sample file is a PDF with the marks already on it. We import that into Onyx, and print it. Then we take the same .pdf and bring it into the colex software and the cut is perfect. It seems...
We are having issues with the cut path getting shifted off the correct location when printing to our AGFA printers and trying to cut on our Colex.
We place the cut lines on the artwork then bring it into Onyx Thrive. From there we tell it we are cutting on the Colex Sharpcut. The file prints...
