wow what a hassle. I wouldn't talk with a sales person to handle this. Call Mutoh and ask for Mike Bisson. the guy helped us out alot and got our printer woes taken care of. his email address is:
MBisson@mutoh.com
good luck
we have a mutoh and we were getting errors for something simular and it turned out to be the bracket that the print head assembly passes to set on the cap was bent! we bent it back and it was fine! not sure how we bent it but oh well. if that dont work email Jeff Ellis who runs the show at...
if you are going to do race cars then you might as well sponsor them and have them pay for the materials. then you request your logo on the car and also used in any media the racer uses to promote as well as if they are on the podium thanking their sponsors! trust me I love motorsports and know...

if you need our services then please give me a call. I create files for a few of our competitors and we will not go after your customers whatsoever! I had that done to me before we had our own printer. www.vgigraphics.com

I would still have them do the leg work and send you the measurements. Time is money! besides not all trailer are built the same even with the same maker. we always double check the sizes because alot of trailers are custom built to suit the customers needs.
good luck!
unless they are paying for a design I would just have the customer give you the dimensions of all (4) sides on a piece of paper and email or fax to you and pics of all (4) sides. We have been doing trailers a long time and from past experience if you send them a rough concept the customer will...
we usually make a AI file in at 25% and open it in photoshop in which it is saved as a tiff file. we then open in flexi and of course enlarge at 400% for full size then go to print. I honestly like the approach "ripjr" has offered and will try it as well. I'm sure the file would be much smaller...
