ya the update fixed this issue , it was a change in the user agent. good times, i don't use any other browser but FF.

ya mac firefox does it to. you can get old version here http://www.oldversion.com/Mozilla-Firefox.html .. im guessing you will have to shut off updates. You can also use the ESR version. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all.html

always run a test on different vinyls .. everything cuts different and hard weeds make my guys mad so whats a quick test. having said that my graphtec is at 18 right now for everyday calendered and cast vinyls.

throwing in a vote for illustrator and flexisign .. i use flexi for all my vinyl cutting and contour cutting and it works great. the graphics guy swears by adobe.

i have found that issue as well , if you leave media loaded it buckles and the carriage hits on next boot. happens most with HP PhotoReal paper. happens during drying as well which sucks on overnight whole roll prints. as for perf we have always used white backing and it works fine.

Just a heads up, Firefox 17 won't load L25500 Embedded web server, possibly other HP printers as well .. quickly flash's the normal screen and errors out. every other browser works fine. Tested on XP and 7 so far and ill check mac tomorrow morning. tech at a few other shops confirmed same...
