This is driving me crazy! I am sure you all know the feeling. I have a large contract to produce wall art for an entire office block refurb. when I cut anything over 3m with Opus dots at 400mm, the cutting head progressively cuts 'off' as it goes up the print. So the Print loads, I slow it down...

When cutting long vinyls, what distance should I set the opus dots. I have just done a 3m with opus set at first corner 1200 2200 2600 3100 but the summa cutter found the first 2 then looked in the wrong place for the second 2 on both sides. Sorry for the numpy question!

Thank you for all your advice on this, just cleaned the machine and found a 'sticky' pinch roller, it was not moving freely which must have added to the problem.

I place 3mm blk squares as a cut layer in the artwork in all 4 four corners of the artboard, they are very precisely lined up. I don't know another way of doing it.

So here's the thing...... I operate a summa D160. Generally, using opus I only cut up to a maximum length 1200 mm using 4 manually placed dots. If I want to cut beyond that length, let's say 2400mm I place 6 manual dots (one midway) Send the job, but the cutter is out by about 3mm! driving me...
