The rfid board is the one (or two, depending on model) close to the ink bag ports. Older units hat a serial connection, newer have a ethernet cable connected to the data relay pca. Check if power is supplied to rfid pca and if the connections are good.

Two T9 screws to loosen to get the pca of. Check that contacts are not stuck.
Pay attention how you have removed the board and the correct positioning, because it requires feeling when putting it back in.
