  1. S80600 Bandning

You could run it in single head mode...try on then the other, that one head could be intermittently faulty. It may also be a paper feed motor that is failing. Someone mentioned cleaning the encoder. Did you do that
  2. Epson S40600 C1 being weird

This is a faulty print head, there is very bad deflection on the nozzles and if you zoom in on the C1 and M1 black numbers below, you can see splotches of ink over those......The head is misfiring cyan on black as well. It does look like ink starvation, but I am sure it is not......I have seen...

  7. Epson S40600 Dropping lines of ink?

I'm an Epson authorized tech. Cyan and magenta, I believe, share one lane or small cap on the pump cap assy. Your nozzles look to be missing those two colors. I would suggest that this is a pump cap issue. I would clean the face of the head, clean the cap with a generous amount of cleaning...
  8. Epson S40600 Orajet 3621 buckling

You can also try to slow it down, ink over saturation with some media can cause it to swell and buckle....Lower dpi, less ink.....The drying suggestions are more likely.
  9. Print Issues Epson S80600 Furry Edges

Make sure the media settings are correct. See if there are any deflected nozzles on the nozzle test. Run the head alignments as previously suggested. You can also try uni or bi as they also suggested and try turning off one head to see if that makes a diff
  10. S80 Damper assy?

I'm an Epson authorized tech in Los Angeles, you need to depressurize the system using the Epson Adjustment Program first, otherwise, the ink is going to be all over the place as it is under pressure. The part is $400-600 I believe. Weak pump caps can cause nozzle dropouts, as can old print heads.

  12. epson s80600 1412 error code

If it is using EPSON firmware you will need the adjustment program which EPSON supplies to us service centers.....there are bootleg copies on ebay The pump cap assy is around $275 if you want to be proactive and replace, they do wear out, unlike many of the other parts that may come up as to be...
  13. Epson S40600 Questions

That part that you are referring to is the heater.....I am am Epson tech and have removed that part to get it through doors. There are a several screws around the perimeter that hold that cover on, the cover also has the heating elements strung under it. Once the screws are removed, lift up and...
  14. Epson SureColor 1A39 Error Printhead

Absolutely, I start with the one that has had the most recent issues: Dropped/Deflected nozzles, etc., then the oldest one, or I just start with the left out of habit it the other two factors do not apply
  15. Epson SureColor 1A39 Error Printhead

As an Epson tech, I see a lot of people swapping out the Main Formatter Board on Epson printers with the 1A39 print head Error. There is a small fuse on the board that can cause error as discussed first in the service manual, which is misleading. While I have done hundreds of heads I have seen...
