It appears that you could be having a damper issue. When the damper goes bad, it will leak out of the head and collect on the area between the nozzles. I just had a similar issue and replaced the duct/damper assembly.
I havent gotten it resolved. I dont think its a bad ink batch. The other head is firing perfectly. I did a full flush of the orange color without any luck.
Great info sticker. Where were you 5 years ago. I used to use mine to premask 30" vinyl but got so tired of ruining prints time and time again. I bought a used gfp laminator and havent looked back. Sticker gave great info but if you can afford it, toss that thing in the dump and buy a cheap...
I’ve got an Epson s80600 10 color and have lost all orange on head 1. The rest of the nozzle test comes up perfect for all other nozzles? Is this a head replacement or ink supply issue. Also who near Richmond other than Descision one will work on it for me?
Get an epson s80. Grimco offers decent service and has an outfit out of charlotte that will come out and get you up and going. If your on the fence and want to see one working, your welcome to come by my location in Richmond.
Jfiscus, thank you for your response. To the jackass, (ewded). I know all about color gamut etc.. I realize that you can't print fluorescent yellow. You can get close to the color without the neon glow on an s80600.
Looking for a profile for an s80600 that can get as close as possible to a Fluor yellow. I know it won't get there all the way but I'm convinced it's nearly possible with the capabilities of this printer. Also what rgb value are you guys using for a Fluor yellow.

I wouldn't go 4K. I thought it would be better for designing but it only caused problems as a lot of programs won't scale for it. I'd look at the benq monitors. There expensive but well worth it. They are meant for the photography/design industry.
theres lots of company's out there doing motorcross graphics. I have a customer with 3 bikes that he would like done. Is there a place or a link out there to download all the industry logos?
