I'm consistently amazed that anyone thinks I can stay organized and on top of their job over text. We do 500ish projects a month. So impressed with people who can track that properly over text.
The biggest piece missing here is just when you're trying to do the upsell. You should qualify by phone, and sell them by phone at the beginning of the process. Trying to sell by email isn't something I'd recommend.
If i were you I would limit your email upsells to things that are easy to...
I won't offer a lower priced option if i want them to go with dimensional. It's hard to make the decision to go with a $1500 sign when you know you could get away with a $400 sign. But as mentioned in this thread, nobody knows what a sign is worth until you tell them.
Sometimes people just want...
I'd recommend buying computers off the shelf instead of having them custom built. IT people love to custom build, but it's more expensive, and everytime one of the components updates it puts the computer at risk of breaking.

It's a 1979 Grumman "Giraffe" that runs on propane with a 30 ft boom. Nothing really wrong with it except for age and the propane part.
Struggling to find a starting point for how much...
We have the exact model Boudica mentioned. It kind of looks like plexibend might be rebranding an even cheaper china product. But honestly these things are so simple they make sense to get from China.
I think your original model was so expensive because it also cuts acrylic. That's harder than...
wow that seems pretty out of line expensive to me. We used to have two around here and gave one away. It's basically just a rectangle with a heated element running through it.
I think you could get a brand name one for less.
Thanks for that! I have a nix lying around somewhere that I'll go use for a starting point here. There's a paint colour which should be easy enough and then the rest is all concrete
How do you do it? Sign shops that do a lot of raceways seem to get really accurate colour matches each time. Is there a process they follow to be so consistent?
