  1. Latex vs Solvent coverage per ml

That is spectacular! I'm so thankful for smart people like you to calculate this for me. I suppose I could figure it out but the question is...will I? The answer is...probably not.
  2. Nicer-looking Wood or Metal A-frames?

Ask the board if one of them has the ability to make them. You might be surprised, most of the boards are retired men and men of that age, vs. 25 year old these days actually know how to build things. I have a couple churches that I show them what to build for their signs and banners and they...

We have Walsdorf Roofing here, no cafes LOL

Probably be easy enough to replicate that from the race car photo
  5. Nicer-looking Wood or Metal A-frames?

    I'm a middle aged woman here's what I found in 10 seconds
  6. Nicer-looking Wood or Metal A-frames?

For wood ones: If you are looking for ideas, check on Pinterest! (If you don't know what that is, ask a middle aged woman, she probably has it on her phone and can search this up for you in no time at all) This is an in-demand item for weddings so I'm positive there's a TON of plans available...
  7. Latex vs Solvent coverage per ml

Someone on here said latex for 100% coverage is about 32 cents square foot. Contour cut coverage about 28 cents. That included the electricity but not substrate. I wish I could find the post, there was very good info in it.
  8. Estimate Sign Pricing Software

I think I still have my Estimate disk from 2005-ish. I really liked the program but I'm glad I went with SignTracker about a year ago vs. Estimate since they are out of business now.
  9. Bubbles When Layering

If I'm going to get another tattoo, I want to go here, where they offer rusty needles. Looks really cool! Nice job!
  10. Cutting Letters Smaller than 1 Inch

My Graphtec did an excellent job of cutting HTV. My new cutter - not so much. Things are wonky and I'm thinking it's because the sheet is slipping or something. Maybe it's slicker than vinyl? But if I hook up my Graphtec - perfect every time.
  11. It's more than just a statement under my avatar...

That's such a neat story! Every time I see boys playing it reminds me of my boys when they were young. I certainly miss playing with them, going to the beach building sandcastles, taking hikes, mostly reading books before bed! And just listening to them talk to each other about dinosaurs...
  12. Need Help Laminated stickers peeled and warped/shriked

I would reprint these on decent vinyl. That vinyl is short term vinyl so they aren't going to last on his tractors regardless of the laminate you used. Get some IJ35 or IJ40 and use 8515 or Arlon laminate.
  13. Raster and Vector Image Customer Rant

    THIS. THIS RIGHT HERE!!!!!
  14. Urgent Help 2

I don't like the baby blue and I don't like the FAMILY MEDICINE in chrome. Switch the blue to white and the FAMILY MEDICINE to black. IDK, maybe that is too simple but the chrome across is enough flash for me.
  15. AUTOMATION and WORKFLOW

I use SignTracker. You can check out their site and I think there's a free trial. Each employee can be loaded in and assigned daily tasks. There is a super easy work flow board, calendars, etc.
  16. Need input on which kind of Computer is the best to use for Designing.

Here's what I did at my last job. Find the quietest, dorkiest IT guy you have and make friends with him. After a while he will load any program on your computer and get you whatever you need. Not to mention, you will make a new friend you never expected to make and he will be interesting and fun...
  17. Raster and Vector Image Customer Rant

You should have given him an award for actually being so smart! They don't usually admit such things, impressive!
  18. Raster and Vector Image Customer Rant

    I hate gradients.
  19. Buying A Sign Business

That sounds great! Please do keep us updated, sounds very exciting!
  20. Material for horticulture stake sign

That's a great idea with the blinds! I second that. I've used them for plant stakes in the past with a sharpie. They are very durable. Sharpie comes off obviously. You could also check at Walmart but I can confirm they are not as sturdy as HD.
