  1. Best adhesive to attach polycarbonate sheets to PVC fence

Lexel will easily adhere to both. hottscennessey If you use VHB and Lexel it will hold. It would be good to clamp it for a few days though since Lexel takes a while to cure.
  2. Best adhesive to attach polycarbonate sheets to PVC fence

    Picture of fence?
  3. Mounting Acrylic Letters - change of plans

I would do a painted, stud-mounted aluminum panel(s). Red letters, especially small ones, on a (presumably) red brick background, are going to be more difficult to read.
  4. Drill bit for stone facade.

    This.... ....and this.
  5. What is the best way to roll up cut vinyl with application tape installed?

    Actually, they do. Pretty quickly.
  6. What is the best way to roll up cut vinyl with application tape installed?

....complicated for the customer that has to resend the vinyl.
  7. What is the best way to roll up cut vinyl with application tape installed?

It's better for the installer if you ship it with the graphics rolled to the inside. Then when he gets to the site and opens it and sees its all tunneled, he can charge a nice trip charge and just roll on to the next install. Then he can come back at another date with the vinyl that has been...
  8. Brick Vinyl

Very easy to find with Google. The vinyl is applied with heat and forms to fit the textured surface, including the mortar lines.
  9. Brick Vinyl

The OP said brick, so I was also referring to brick. Vinyl can be applied to brick, block and a whole slew of other surfaces.
  10. Brick Vinyl

    It's done all the time. 3M 8624
  11. New one for me.......................................................

Yeah he's probably talking about a frame that gets taped to the wall. The frame has a thin metal ferrous sheet in the face side and the faceplate has magnetic sheeting on the back (or vice versa). The frame stays in place, the faces can easily be removed/relocated.
  12. standoffs

Generally 1" to 2" to the center of the standoff, depending on the size of the standoff, panel, etc.
  13. What thickness of acrylic for 5'x6' with 1" spacers

The standoffs are fine. The anchors they're showing are garbage.
  14. What thickness of acrylic for 5'x6' with 1" spacers

1/4" or 3/8" is fine. Six standoffs is plenty. Personally, I appreciate when there's a center standoff. If the installer is by him/her self, they can easily measure and determine where on the wall that top center anchor needs to be. Install that anchor, lift and hang the sign on that, level...
  15. Here's an absolute new one for me, after 51 years.............................................

Time to go to the bank and get the amount owed in loose pennies.
  16. Cold-weather silicone for exterior Gemini/stud installs?

Probably because they think it's "just sticking letters on the wall". Once they drill their holes and get one or more studs hung up and they wont go any further into the holes and they can't pull them out of the holes, they'll be wishing they had paid someone to install them. Just be careful how...
  17. Cold-weather silicone for exterior Gemini/stud installs?

I personally wouldn't give them any install advice if they insist on installing it themselves. Metal sucks trying to get studs through. If you drill the "correct" size hole, the studs will bind and sometimes you won't be able to get them in all the way....and it can be an absolute bear to get...
  18. Skirting around pole sign?

They're just referred to as pole covers. Probably too custom of a job to be wholesaled.
