I agree, unfortunately we are in a rural area so the closest is about 30 minutes away. I tried using him a couple times but he's not very responsive. I typically avoid these projects unless it's for a good customer.
Yes! I was outside most of the day doing an install then I went home to work in the garden but I went in because I felt like I had to cough. Yesterday was hazy and today it is also but not like Tuesday!
I could find room but my friend is a Veteran and has "The Patriot Building" which rents office and conference rooms out. He serves local Veterans and the entire thing is decorated with this kind of thing. He was extremely appreciative of it. Most of those signs aren't getting hung up. Mine is...
Yes! I got one also. I'm not a fan of the design so I gave it to my customer for his "Patriot Building" he was so vry grateful and excited!
I thought it was a really nice gift!!!
In Wisco also...it's definitely getting thick over here by us! Is it just me or does it smell like smoke?
Boudica - I can't imagine living like this for 2 months! i'm not a fan of this smoke stuff
Maybe a banner would be more cost effective for the parade and then they can reuse it for next year. Depends on the cost of the high tack vinyl and how quickly you can get it.
Yes they were! I didn't keep a sample but it was glossy and on thicker stock like business card stock. Glossy on both sides. The customer was very happy. The nice thing is fast arrival. I had them in 48 hours. I ordered a few items from them on that paper when I don't need high quantities. I got...
$39.99 Canon at Walmart. 8.5x11 for layouts/invoices. When I do color proofing I usually just add it to another job I'm printing on the printer so I'm sure to get the correct colors.
That doesn't really help but that's what I do.
Wet? I don't think you are supposed to apply it wet. Usually, the perf is easy to apply dry and turns out like yours but then settles after a day or so. That could be the issue.
Shot in the dark here. This happened to me a few times. Really got my goat...somehow I had changed the percentage to like 94% instead of 100%. This is Flexi but maybe you have something similar...
You can send them to Signs365. They print on a large sheet of paper so you get 9 cards for $2.00. You can use a bleed, they cut them apart and you can still have the fun of folding at your leisure. I just ordered some glossy post card type handouts, they turned out really nice and the customer...
Thanks guys! I think instead of picking out a nice Pantone color from the guide they just start designing in CMYK and assume the print and screen colors are the same. Drives me nuts!
I'm trying to match ink colors for shirts. They send me a vector file with CMYK. The colors look weird. I convert it to RGB - they still look weird. She said it's purple and light blue. They look purple and teal. I asked if they had a Pantone color I could quick match to. She has her designer...
Kind of off subject but a customer came in yesterday and had been doing landscaping with an older man in his 80's. The old man was making odd comments to the young worker (in his 20's). The young man let it go. He came back again and the old man had his balls hanging out of his shorts and was...
Never ordered these before so I'm looking for some ideas. Do most people do the UV gloss 2 sided paper with the little slide in stake? Or coroplast with a single stake - I can't find a wholesaler that cuts them small enough. Looking for probably 4"x4" or 5"x5"
