    is your head down? are you running normal speed? are you running in uni direction? - does it print the same way on all media? all things to check!

    is your head in the lowest position? high to medium pass count? 12 to 16? is your profile the highest resolution? are you printing unidirectional? are you printing normal speed? what are your HEATER settings? is this a vector print? all things to check for a good clean hi-res printout!

    yes - as long as they are sponge - clean really good around the edges and the LIGHTLY sponge over the head -- it is best to check the head with a light - BEFORE doing anything! sometimes there is vinyl fragments and lint on the head - CHECK HEAD FIRST!
