Must have been an evil disgruntled graphics guy who developed the plastic formula for some of these coolers. Even with low energy vinyl, flame treating them first, no matter what you do, there always seems to be random ones that just.. won't.. stick! F$#@*'n coolers
He said it's been idle for two years.
If it wasn't flushed and prepped it could need new lines from the cartridges to the waste tank (readily available), new heads & pump (also readily available), caps, dampers, & other misc parts are all still available. Running a full new ink delivery system...
You'll probably need a low energy vinyl to get it to stick on the plastic ones, most vinyl brands have them. If you're wrapping and going with 3M the IJ180MC-10LSE is their high tack low energy. I stock this just for use on formed plastic.
IJ39 works good if you're just putting decals on them...
Another option is acrylic with standoffs, looks a little more high end, but more costly. Used to do the acrylic for the top dogs in professional offices, and Gino's way for the average office environment where the names will probably get changed more often. Kind of depends on the use and what's...
Check out Georgia Expo, they claim to do em'
The thing with printed stage skirts is they aren't pleated like standard skirting, they're just flat fabric with velcro sewn into the hems. If you can't find anyplace and have a sewing machine, just print em' on fabric banner material and sew velcro...
The MC designates Micro Channels for air release. It's good for not showing any air channel lines when it's laid. Always gotta let them outgas and cure good before laminating, especially solid prints with the MC series.
Most media has a label inside the core. If you're still not sure what it is from that, just go to somewhere like Fellers who sells most common vinyls and enter the product number in the search bar. From there you can get all the specs, sell sheets, etc... Like this.
There was a satin fabric I used to print on a roland years ago for store displays where it had to be folded for shipping, but it was discontinued... Call this place and inquire about fold-ability of this, kind of looks like it has the specs of what I used to use...
Last thing I ever would have thought of using is anything labeled "duct tape"... Looked up the specs, and it looks like some pretty sweet stuff. Learned something new today :thumb:
He said he's an installer, I assume he'd know that, but good point in case he doesn't. :thumb:
We do stripe kits for Mules, and we usually flame treat first when we do the installs, especially on new ones.
On some things it's more beneficial to add logos after you wrap, I do it all the time. Plus if the base is just a solid color it gives you the option to just use colored wrap vinyl if it's available in the color you need, and not have to print/ laminate everything. Saves time, money, and even if...
Depending on cost, you could use a granite, stone, or concrete slab face, or even erect a monument style with decorative blocks, and use basic cut flat aluminum letters. It would last and be pretty theft/ vandalism proof.
Had one of mine attempted to be used in Azerbaijan a few years ago... Never knew this little country existed until then. CC company denied it and locked down my account immediately because it was in another country. Someone in Ohio attempted to use my wife's debit card in Ohio not long after...
Skimmers, security breaches at businesses you deal with on-line. The worst is when large retailers, corporations, credit card companies and banks get compromised, hundreds of account numbers can be affected in a split second, pretty much all they have on file if it's not caught immediately. It's...
UltraFlex UltraMesh is a two sided for just that application, but... It's only available in 126" & 196" for grand format printers.
Sub them out to a company that prints them, go hang em' & collect a check.
Bottom one looks to me like it's blown... Make sure it's unplugged for a while before you replace it, or when working on anything electrical, especially on a Roland. Power supply capacitors hold power for a while, and all the electronics are sensitive to voltage spikes. Use the same rated fuse...
