You shouldn't be using intermediate vinyl for your boat licenses and names either. The chalking paint is an issue, but most customers aren't going to get the truck repainted, and I have seen the lettering hold a long time on old box trucks.

If you're ordering it anyway, order a sublimated polyester fabric banner. Even without a fringe it will look better, be lighter, and store better.

We're not doing it. We have the customer contact their detailer or dealer to handle it. On this one I told the customer they may have to sand off the surface until the staining is gone and have the gelcoat redone if the staining is deep.

I can get that kind of blank as a standard item from Grimco. This is a custom shape to look like an old timey sign. Not a traffic sign.
